Sustainably Sourced & Recycled 3D Printing Filaments

We’re proud to offer the largest selection of sustainable, recycled, & responsibly sourced 3D printing filaments to our New Zealand & Australian customers. Sustainability isn’t just about recycling, it's also about producing the raw material sustainably, & reusing where we can. Most PLA on the market is sourced from sugarcane & corn crops grown on land where it competes with food production, & often by clearing existing forestry. While that PLA itself is biodegradable, this manner of natural devastation that occurs in its production can’t be justified. That's why we believe it is our duty to help reduce bio impact in every way possible. From recycled factory wastage turned into filament, as well as from sourcing raw material sustainably, our goal is to make 3D printing as eco-friendly as possible. This selection of our products is designed to leave as light an imprint on the environment as possible, while trying to have a positive impact where we can. Our range of bioplastics and biopolymers including Recycled PLA, R-PETG, Vibers additives, & filament made entirely from 100% recycled 3D print wastage are designed to reduce plastic waste, CO2 emissions and contribute to a circular economy.

Tricks to Use Filaments Efficiently

  1. Store the filaments in a cool, dry place.
  2. Ensure print nozzle is correctly calibrated.
  3. Experiment with print speeds and temperatures to find the best settings for each filament type.
  4. Clean the nozzle regularly to prevent clogging.
  5. Use a cooling fan for better results with PLA and PLA+.

Resins

High Resolution Resin

High Resolution resins enable 3D Printing with higher precision on high resolution 3D printers. They have smaller particles in line with the smaller pixels of modern 8K, 12K, & 14K LCD Screens. So when the smaller pixel lights up, a matching high precision resin can expose more accurately. This allows for better XY definition, enables thinner layers, & creates parts that don’t show tessellations. High resolution resins are fully backward compatible & will work well with older 3D printers too. They are low viscosity, which is beneficial for any 3D printer to be able to print faster & at a greater range of temperatures.

High Speed Resins

High Speed resins can be 6x faster than normal resins. They are low viscosity & optimized to print with less lift time, thus increasing build speed dramatically. They also tend to have reduced peel forces and work with a larger range of layer heights.
